Broncos Raiders
Well, thankfully there aren’t too many names on the week one injury report.  The only bad thing is that the names that are there are pretty important names.  This is not the official injury report for week one, this is just based off of everything I pulled from all over the internet and put it in one convenient spot for you.  I’ll list the injuries from both teams and tell you whether or not I think they’ll be available for week one.

Denver Broncos

Quinton Carter- DB- being called an “irritated hamstring”- Listed as #2 SS behind Brian Dawkins.

Demaryius Thomas-WR- Achilles- Thomas has returned to practice ahead of schedule but will need 2-3 weeks of “football conditioning” before returning to game form.

D.J. Williams- LB- Elbow- Probably the highest impact injury, could be out for the next 3 weeks however D.J. has shown he heals faster than most.

Ty Warren- DL- Triceps- Successfully had surgery to repair torn triceps Coach Fox says recovery time is around 3-4 months- Will definitely hurt the run defense.

Marcus Thomas- DL- Pectoral- Strained his pectoral muscle in the first preseason game.  Remains questionable for the start of the regular season.  Much needed to help the run defense.

Oakland Raiders

Derek Haggan- WR- Undisclosed- Missed practice Monday with what he called a “minor” injury- Probable for week 1.

Chaz Schilens- WR- Knee- Coach Jackson says Schilens will “definitely” be ready for the season opener.

Kevin Boss- TE- Knee- Suffered sprained MCL in the preseason could miss week one opener.

Chris Johnson- DB- Undisclosed- Had surgery to repair undisclosed injury says he will be ready for week one.

Darren McFadden- RB- Eye- Missed entire preseason with a broken orbital bone, injury should not hold him out of the regular season opener.

Mike Mitchell- DB- Undisclosed- Been out most of the preseason with an undisclosed injury, status uncertain.

Louis Murphy- WR- Knee, Groin- Had surgery on 8/15/11 will likely miss week one.
